What happens when the sport that has defined you suddenly comes to an end?
Easton was a record-setting Division I sprinter and hurdler at UAlbany, competing against some of the best athletes in the country. But behind the accomplishments was a constant pressure to improve, an identity tied to performance, and a growing loss of joy. When injuries disrupted his senior season and brought his competitive career to an unexpected close, Easton was forced to wrestle with a difficult question: Who am I when I can no longer do the thing that defined me?
Easton shares how he found lasting identity, joy, and peace in Christ—and why your performance is something you do, not who you are.
