Standing Firm: The Pressure to Fit In as a Christian Athlete
As a Christian athlete, the pressure to fit in can be overwhelming—whether it’s in the locker room, on the field, or in social settings. In this episode, we sit down with Brandon Gettig, FCA Rochester Area Director, to discuss the challenges athletes face when trying to live out their faith in a culture that often pushes them to conform. Brandon shares his personal journey of navigating these pressures in both high school and college, as well as real stories from athletes he works with today. Together, we’ll explore what the Bible says about standing firm in faith (Romans 12:2, 1 Corinthians 15:33, Galatians 1:10) and offer practical advice for athletes who want to stay true to Christ in the face of peer pressure. If you've ever struggled with balancing faith and fitting in, this episode is for you!
